They are surprisingly stiff, perfect for dirt jumping and I haven't had any problems with street either. You might run into problems if you are a really aggressive street rider and land sideways alot, because of the low spoke count. The huge advantage is how light they are, I just love this bike on dirt jumps though, it handles awesome in the air.
